The Dean of the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine, the Rt. Rev. Clifton Daniel III, announced March 15 that he would be leaving the post that he has held for the past five year on June 30, 2022 in accordance with the terms of his original agreement with the Bishop and Board of Trustees. “Serving as Dean of this great Cathedral has been a signal honor of my ordained ministry,” he wrote, “and I am profoundly grateful.”
