In a departure from recent practice, the diocese this year celebrated the life and ministry of the Blessed Absalom Jones not at the Cathedral, but at St. Philip’s Church in Harlem. Bishop Dietsche officiated, and the preacher was the presiding bishop, the Most Rev. Michael B. Curry preached.
