2021 Wardens’ Conference: Presentations and Recorded Sessions

After a pandemic-induced hiatus in 2020, the Warden’s Conference returned for 2021 via Zoom with a strong lineup of well-attended presentations, delivered over two weekday evenings and a Saturday morning in early June. All sessions were recorded and are now available online at www.dioceseny.org/wc21.
Presentations included:
- The Role of Wardens: (Best) Practices Make Perfect By Alice F. Yurke, Esq., chancellor of the Diocese of New York
- Property Management and Maximization –Wardens’ Responsibilities and Best Practices, by Jason Labate, Esq., partner, Goldstein Hall PLLC and Egbert Stolk, director of diocesan property services.
- Reclaiming Our Rich Baptismal Identity: Lay Leadership in Transition By the Rev. Canon Victor Conrado, canon for congregational vitality, and Abby Nathanson, managing director of Episcopal Futures.
- Communications Technology and the Church, Post-Covid: Panel Discussion. With the Rev. Nils Chittenden, Rector, St. Stephen’s Church, Armonk; Thomas M. Reefer, Ed.D., parish administrator, Church of the Incarnation, Manhattan and Founder, Church Stream New York; Paula Roberts, Senior Warden, Trinity Church of Morrisania, Bronx. Moderated by the Rev.
